IDLE VILLAGER

Idle Villager is a cozy, minimalist idle game where you sit back and watch your tiny village thrive.

Your villagers work hard, wandering out into the wilderness to gather plants and return them to the village. As they bring in resources, you’ll earn money—use it to recruit more villagers, increase the value of what they collect, and speed up plant growth for faster returns.

With its gentle pacing and satisfying loop, Idle Villagers is the perfect way to relax and unwind. There’s no pressure, no rush—just a simple, satisfying way to pass the time and watch your village grow.

NOTE: There is no music, only sound effects. You can put on whatever music you want while playing, and I couldn't find anything that I liked that would play on repeat.

you can add a game mechanic, if you have the farmers farm the nearest thing to be farmed.

that way the spawn rate doesnt just supply enough things to farm, but over spawning will speed up your farming.

I like it. Idle plus some physics. The plant growth speed gets outpaced by the number of workers. My worker quantity price right now is 640 while plant growth speed cost is 10240. I have 4 workers. Half of them are in the building chilling because there are no plants.

Would be nice to add some logic to the villagers so they favor closer plants. That way you'd also have more incentive to get +plants early as you'd increase the odds of having plants nearby for them to pick. Currently the only purpose of +plants is for throughput. Game is nice and relaxing though.

Edit: Found a bug. When you buy an upgrade (160 gold +plants in this case) the -gold text at the top doesn't use the correct value. It uses the value of the next upgrade. So it says -320 gold instead of -160.
